About the Event
Goals of the professional learning
- To understand the importance of student agency, student voice and leadership and the impact they have on student learning outcomes.
- To use a range of online resources that will support a student centred approach to teaching and address the Capabilities and Cross- curriculum priorities.
- To discuss ways both teachers and students collect evidence of high impact teaching strategies usage and the pedagogical models that can support future planning.
- To consider the importance of enriching the learning environment so that students are engaged, focused and successful.
Louise Bowe is the Director of Whole School Partners. As an experienced educator, working in education policy and online content procurement for both state and federal education systems for 15 years, Louise believes schools can benefit from the many networks and online services that are now discoverable for teachers, students and parents.
Louise has been a leading educator and professional development provider in primary classrooms across Australia and in the United Kingdom. She brings her educational experience and knowledge of student-centred, future focused learning to school leaders and classroom educators.
